Ultimately, enlightenment is a realization; it’s not an experience. It is a conviction that is always there. People often chase mystical experiences, but you can practice conviction without depending upon mystical experiences by bringing your attention to the “background,” to the intuitive faculty of recognition, and anchoring yourself there. Marinate in, concentrate on, and deepen the conviction that you are already free. This in itself can directly lead to mystical confirmations.
