Purification at a Soul Level

In the pursuit of Absolute Truth, there are two paths of purification: total conviction and total humility. The path of conviction is confidence based, whereas the path of humility is expressed as surrender, not-knowing, innocence, and devotion. Both can be cultivated to reveal the nature of reality in direct experience. When combined with investigating the assumptions that filter your experience, you clean the lens; you become more pure and humble in your understanding and perceptions. The sense of “solidity” and your association with sensations will begin to dissolve. From here, a very powerful state of Freedom can be attained. When done in totality and there's nothing left of the self, what remains is Absolute Truth. The Truth cannot disappear. It does not come or go. Otherwise it could not be Absolute.
